Class time is 12:00-6:00 PM with a 30 minute break. This is a non-refundable class and we ask that both birthing person and partner be present. We host the semi-private group class at Nurture Yoga in West Nashville.
Birth Educator Policy
We are a team of two birth educators who typically teach together. However, in the event of illness or an unforeseen circumstance, the class may be taught by just one of us. Rest assured, your class will always be led by one of the two Be Birthwise educators you signed up to learn from.
The Prenatal Birth Intensive group class is a comprehensive class that will cover the following:
Labor prep: how to know you are in labor, what to expect in the different phases of labor, and pain management options for your birth (unmedicated and medicated).
Pushing techniques and laboring positions
Postpartum recovery and care for your physical and mental health
Basics of Newborn and Breastfeeding
