Normal newborn behaviors vs. warning signs
Newborn sleep patterns and realistic sleep expectations
How to swaddle safely and effectively
Bathing your newborn with confidence
Sleep sacks and safe sleep practices
When and how to contact your pediatrician or medical provider
This portion of the class helps parents feel prepared for everyday newborn care while reducing anxiety and information overload.
Breastfeeding Education & Support
Our breastfeeding class covers the fundamentals of breastfeeding in a practical, non-judgmental way—perfect for first-time parents or those wanting a refresher. Topics include:
Colostrum, when your milk comes in, and what’s normal in the early days
How to latch a baby comfortably and effectively
Feeding routines, cues, and frequency
What breastfeeding life looks like day-to-day
Sore nipple care and common early challenges
Pumping basics: when to start, how to pump, and how to store milk
Whether you plan to exclusively breastfeed, pump, combo feed, or are still deciding, this class meets you where you are.

About Your Educator
We are a small team of two birth educators, Megan and Taylor. Your private class will be led by one of us. While we can’t guarantee a specific educator, both of us are trained in all class content and have over 7 years of experience supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period.
