Our Private Birth Class: Part One is a comprehensive, in-depth childbirth education class designed to prepare you for labor, birth, pushing, and the critical first six weeks of postpartum. This private, in-person class provides personalized education, hands-on practice, and practical tools to help you feel confident, informed, and supported going into birth and early parenthood.
We typically teach this class on a weekday and it lasts anywhere from 2-3 hours.

We begin by helping you understand how to know when you are in labor and what to expect as labor progresses. Topics include:

The phases and stages of labor and how to recognize them
When to stay home and when to head to the hospital or birth center

About Your Educator
We are a small team of two birth educators, Megan and Taylor. Your private class will be led by one of us. While we can’t guarantee a specific educator, both of us are trained in all class content and have over 7 years of experience supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period.
