We cover everything from early labor signs all the way through pushing, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and breastfeeding basics. You leave with a full picture — not just what happens at the hospital. Every class includes a Be Birthwise booklet you can reference before and after your birth.

The Group Intensive runs 6 hours (12–6pm with a 30-minute break). Private and Semi-Private classes are 4 hours total, offered as one session or split across two evenings. The Refresher class is 2 hours.

Group classes are held at Nurture Yoga in West Nashville. Private and Semi-Private classes are taught in your home within 30 minutes of downtown Nashville. A travel fee of $1/mile applies beyond 30 minutes.

Taylor and Megan — registered nurses, trained doulas, sisters, and moms who have supported hundreds of Nashville families through birth. Group classes are taught by both. Private classes are taught by one instructor.

Yes! Our Refresher Class is designed for parents who've been through birth before and want a focused refresh — especially if you're hoping for a different experience this time or it's been a few years.

Both the birthing person and their support partner are required to attend. The partner content is a big part of what makes the class so valuable — we do a lot of hands-on work together. If your partner truly can't make it, reach out and we'll chat through options.

We recommend 28–36 weeks for the Group Intensive. Private and Semi-Private classes are available from 20 weeks. The earlier you book, the more scheduling flexibility you have — especially for private classes.

Pick your class, choose a date, and pay — that's it. You'll get a confirmation with your calendar invite right away. We'll send your intake form closer to class day so it doesn't hold up your booking.

Payment is collected at the time of booking. All classes are non-refundable.

We'll send your intake form after booking and ask that you complete it at least 72 hours before your class. It takes about 5 minutes and helps us tailor the class to your needs and birth goals.

Private and Semi-Private classes are offered within 30 minutes of downtown Nashville. If you're further out, a travel fee of $1/mile applies. Just enter your address when booking and we'll confirm before your class.

Just yourself and your partner! For group classes, we provide everything you need. For private classes at your home, it helps to have any baby gear you plan to use already out — we'll walk through it with you.
